An owner of a prohibitively expensive Bugatti Veyron Mansory Vivere has managed to reduce its tires to burning tatters in a matter of minutes. How did he manage that? Watch the video, you’ll find out soon enough.
It seems like the temptation of speed-drifting in an abandoned parking area was simply too much for the proud owner of a $2.5M hypercar to bear. He didn’t stop until all four of his tires – worth U.S. $10,000 each – were ruined beyond all hope. By the way, if he ever has to replace the entire wheel set on his ride, that would be closer to U.S. $150,000.
The Mansory Vivere edition of Bugatti Veyron sports a unique outer design and a special all-carbon body kit. It packs a colossal 16.4-liter W16 engine pumping out up to 1,109 hp (827 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1,106 lb·ft) of torque. The hypercar accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and doesn’t hit its speed ceiling until 410 km/h (255 mph).
