Bugatti’s idea of a X-Mas gift is a $380k watch

The French luxury automaker has revealed its Christmas gift lineup for 2023, and some examples, like a Lego scale model of the Bolide or a $380,000 pink-gold wristwatch, are really special.

In addition to gold, the Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon Rose Gold timepiece comes encrusted with white and black diamonds. It is also adorned with a scale model of the company’s 16-cylinder engine, complete with moving pistons and rotating turbines. The engine mounts on which it is suspended resemble shock absorbers. Bugatti has cooperated with Jacobs&Co for this project.

Hypercar drivers who find themselves strapped for this kind of pocket change may consider buying an Asprey souvenir egg crafted from carbon fiber with some previous metals thrown in. Depending on the specific design and contents, one such egg may cost between $20,000 and $200,000.

Still, nothing on the list tops a home audio system by Tidal. Comprising just two high-tech speakers and a control center that clients can customize every bit as much as Bugatti cars, it comes in at a cool $450,000.

Other noteworthy entries include wireless headphones, sunglasses with Zeiss lenses and silver/titanium inserts, champagne in a carbon-fiber bottle, and a Lego replica of Bugatti’s famous Bolide hypercar. The scale model consists of 905 parts and – surprisingly enough – costs as little as $49,99.
