Bugatti puts the Centodieci out in the cold, here’s why

Bugatti unveiled its Centodieci Concept in 2019, which seems like such a distant year now, but production hasn’t even started yet. Despite all 10 units already sold in pre-orders, the company continues rigorously testing the hypercar hoping to begin deliveries in late 2022.

The coupe has already passed its trials in scorching heat at +45ºC (+113ºF) and was locked inside a controlled climate chamber several days ago. It was kept there at a temperature as low as -20ºC (-4ºF) to test its resistance to freezing cold weather and ensure that not a single component failed. The test is officially over now with everything working as expected.

The Bugatti Centodieci has over 30,000 kilometers (18,600 miles) of test drives ahead of it, including high-speed tests, before it finally goes into production.
