A dealership in Japan believes it can flip a Bugatti Centodieci for €12,500,000 and make the buyer wait until 2023 for the actual vehicle to be assembled.
The Centodieci debuted three years ago as a means to celebrate Bugatti turning 110 years old. It runs on the same platform as the Chiron, but has a drastically different exterior. It is also faster and more powerful thanks to a tuned 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo engine producing 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW). The 100-PS advantage enables it to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.4 seconds, or one-tenth of a second faster than the stock Chiron.
During the presentation, Bugatti said all ten units had been sold through pre-orders. Each was priced from €8,000,000 before taxes.
The reseller wants to get the payment for the car in Japan, but points out that buyers will have to go to Italy to pick up the car itself when it is completed in January 2023.
French business Luxury Car Consulting posted a similar ad last year, but it offered a place in the waiting line, rather than a specific car. Since the production hadn’t begun at that point, buyers could still specify their desired options.
