The Bugatti Chiron has already been pitted up against the Veyron SS and the 1,300-horsepower Audi S4. The time has now come for it to challenge the formidable McLaren 720S, a supercar that surpasses some hypercars on track.
The engineers have boosted the four-liter V8 engine of the 720S by 141 hp (105 kW) to a total of 861 hp (642 kW). Still, this is way less than Chiron’s 1,500 hp (1,120 kW). The latter also needs only 2.5 seconds to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph).
The drag race took place at a kilometer-long track (0.62 miles). Watch the video to see how it turned out.
