Automakers continue to fight for the right to produce the fastest car in the world. Now the fastest on the planet is Bugatti Chiron, who recently installed another world speed record.
The car, equipped with a power unit with a capacity of 1500 horsepower, was dispersed from 0 to 400 km/h, and then stopped. The whole process took only 41.96 seconds. Accelerating, Bugatti Chiron overcame a distance of 2.6 km, and the stopping distance was 491 meters.
An interesting fact is that behind the wheel of the coupe was the ex-pilot of Formula 1 Juan Pablo Montoya, previously spoke for the team of McLaren and Williams.
