Famous
British manufacturer of large-scale models, Amalgam Company presented its new
product, which, no doubt, will interest collectors. Specialists have created a
four-fold reduced copy of the engine, which is installed on the hypercar
Bugatti Chiron. This, without exaggeration, a work of art was estimated at $
9,365.
The joint
creation of Amalgam specialists and Bugatti engineers consists of 1040 parts.
And in the copy there are no moving elements, it was created from stainless
steel, tin and polyurethane resin. The development of the copy took 2500 hours,
and the construction of one copy requires 220 hours.
By the way, last year engineer Eric Harrell
printed an exact copy of the Subaru EJ20 engine on a 3D printer at a scale of
1:35. This unit had a lot of moving parts, which were driven by an electric
motor.
