The French supercar maker has completed building the 300th Chiron. The production began in 2016 and will be over when all 500 planned units leave the factory.
The milestone example is a Pur Sport ride wrapped in carbon fiber attire, with an interior dominated by black leather and artificial suede.
The Pur Sport version, which you can feast your eyes upon in the attached video, is a driver-oriented track weapon limited to 60 production units starting from €3.2 million. Compared to the regular Chiron – if there is such a thing as a ‘regular’ hypercar – it weighs 50 kg (110 lbs) less and has its top speed capped at 350 km/h (217 mph). Despite this, changed gear ratios actually make it more dynamic than the normal Chiron: the Pur Sport only needs 2.3 seconds to launch from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph).
