Bugatti cranks up the power on the Chiron in yet another spin-off

The Bugatti Chiron may no longer be young, but it keeps breeding derivatives. According to the latest official teaser image, the company will soon unveil yet another new version somehow based off the Chiron Super Sport 300+ (see video).

It looks like we are talking about a street-legal adaptation of the abovementioned racer, which set an absolute speed record among production cars two years ago. Judging by the darkened front fascia photo, the new Bugatti will draw inspiration from many models of the past, but particularly the Centodieci with its eight-liter W16 boosted to 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW).

A total of 30 such hypercars will hit production, and we wouldn’t be surprised if we heard that they had already been sold via pre-orders ahead of launch despite an asking price of several million euros.

The developer promises an optional roll cage and speed limiter removal for those who would rather take their new hypercar to the track than the road.
