New drag racing videos crop up every day, but this one is special in more ways than one. Watch a Bugatti Chiron trying to outrace the Red Bull RB7 that Sebastian Vettel drove to his first championship victory ten years ago.
Things look extremely exciting even on paper: the Chiron comes powered by an eight-liter W16 rated at 1,500 PS (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW), and the RB7 is barely half as powerful at just 761 PS (750 hp / 559 kW). However, its eight-cylinder has the unique advantage of revving up to 18,000 RPM, and while the Bugatti weighs in at two metric tons (4,400 lbs) sitting on a curb, the racer weighs 650 kg (1,433 lbs) with the driver already in.
