Out of the planned production run of 500 units, the French hypercar builder has already completed 460, citing a recent sales spike led by China.
The original Chiron model debuted at the 2016 Geneva International Motor Show, and the deliveries started a year later. By May 2018, the company had sold 100 units; by this March, it had only assembled 300.
Orders are currently only accepted for two track-focused specifications: Pur Sport and Super Sport. The former emphasizes handling ease, while the latter outputs record amounts of power.
