Bugatti tells a bit about the impending Chiron successor

It is official now that the Bugatti Chiron will be sold out before late, and Mate Rimac has now confirmed that a successor is coming. The vehicle will be released with a powerful IC engine under the hood, but all other details remain secret.

Rimac, who is now the leader of the Bugatti-Rimac joint enterprise, pointed out that ICE cars should remain viable in the near future. He assured us that the Chiron successor would have no trouble producing a wow effect on its target audience. The carmaker has a few innovative features in development to make sure the car turns out truly special, although we won’t be learning anything about them for a while longer.

Motor1 believes the new hypercar can wind up with a hybridized version of the familiar Bugatti W16 quad-turbo. The eight-liter mill currently produces up to 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW).

The joint enterprise between Rimac (Croatia) and Bugatti (France) was founded in 2021 with headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia. By the end of the decade, the company plans to launch a new hypercar with a Bugatti badge on it. Most market observers tend to agree that this new car will be a bridge model between the gas-powered Chiron and the all-electric Rimac Nevera, in other words, a hybrid of some kind.
