Watch the inimitable Bugatti Chiron Profilée cruise along Paris streets

With only one example in existence worldwide, your chances of seeing the Bugatti Chiron Profilée firsthand are very slim at best. Luckily for us all, YouTuber TFJJ filmed the car as it arrived at the Eiffel Tower in Paris and set on a picturesque midnight tour of the city.

In designing the Profilée, the automaker aimed at a middle ground of sorts between the standard Chiron and the hardcore Chiron Pur Sport. The company said its clients wanted to see a car like that. The development began in late 2020, and a decision was later made to shelve the project before mass production, but Bugatti at least finished and delivered the one example it was working on.

Thus was the Chiron Profilée born, with the French marque’s signature W16 under the hood slamming the wheels with 1,500 PS (1,479 hp / 1,103 kW). It can sprint 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 5.5 seconds. The top speed is 380 km/h (236 mph).

From the design standpoint, the model has distinctive large air intakes at the front, a reshaped front splitter and an enlarged version of the Bugatti horseshoe grille. Rounding off the look is a unique set of wheels not found on any other Chiron in existence.
