Bugatti teases the Bolide production car

There are many impressive Bugatti Chiron modifications out there, but none is as hardcore as the Bolide. A track-only hyper sports car with insane amounts of power, low curb weight and exceptional acceleration is still considered a concept (see video), but the French automaker has just posted an image of what looks like the production version.

Bugatti remains tight-lipped about any details, but says ‘intense development’ is underway. As for the teaser, it provides a close-up of the headlights and front fender vents. Carbon-fiber textures can also be seen.

The Bolide was announced in 2021 with 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW) under the hood and an option to get 1,850 PS (1,825 hp / 1,361 kW) from pouring in ON110 gasoline. Back then, the company specified that it was going to build 40 units priced starting from €4,000,000. It also said the preparation would take three years and the first deliveries would only be made in 2024.
