Bugatti has unveiled a special version of its ultra-lavish Chiron hypercar at a closed event held mainly for the prospective buyers of the vehicle. YouTube blogger Whitesse JR was also invited, and he came forth with a rather interesting opinion on it.
According to him, the new model looks ‘rather controversial’. It is still driven by the same eight-liter, 16-cylinder monster engine capable of 1,500 hp (1,120 kW) and 1,600 Nm (1,180 lb*ft) of torque, and will enter the market in a very limited series.
He could not go into much further detail because of an NDA paper he signed.
Same engine performance should basically mean most of the innovation is going to be pure eye candy. There will likely be a broad lacquering palette to choose from, as well as a number of interior trimming options. A brand-new car body is not completely out of the question, either.
The original Bugatti Chiron Sport debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2018 with its very windshield wipers made of carbon fiber. The starting price is €2,650,000, going all the way up to €3,000,000 with all options installed.
