The toy brick set manufacturer Lego has started sales of the Bugatti Chiron set. The package costs U.S. $350 and includes a total of 3,599 parts.
560 mm (21.7/8”) long, 250 mm (9.3/4”) wide and 140 mm (5.1/2”) tall, the car is a 1:8 replica of the original. It comes with its own body kit including an active rear wing that can be tilted across various axes. It also features body-matching wheels clad in low-profile tires, a detailed driver’s cockpit and a 16-cylinder engine with moving pistons.
Each buyer of the $350 set gets an illustrated booklet telling the history of the car, listing its main characteristics and providing instructions for the correct assembly order of the set. There is also a key for anti-wing adjustment and a small briefcase.
The Bugatti Chiron is the most challenging automobile-themed Lego set on the market, followed by the Porsche 911 set that consists of 2,700 parts and comes with a 600-page assembly manual.
