Lego has released a life-sized copy of the Bugatti Chiron hypercar, complete with a fully functional engine, an active spoiler and real lighting.
The model took 13,000 hours and more than 1,000,000 parts to build.
As you can see on the video, the car is mostly made up of triangular parts that have the same color as the original Chiron.
The vehicle is powered by a real Lego Power Function engine capable of 5.3 hp (4 kW) and around 100 Nm (74 lb·ft) of torque. Piloted by racing driver Andy Wallace, it accelerated to 20 km/h. Mr. Wallace then commented that you only needed to stand a moderate distance from the toy hypercar to believe it’s the real thing.
