Bugatti only pieced together three EB 112 models back in the nineties, making them valuable collector’s pieces, and one is up for grabs in Germany right now.
This particular sedan (or, more appropriately, fastback) was delivered to a Swiss dealership of Bugatti in 2000. It had never changed hands since and had only accumulated around 3,900 km (2,423 miles) on the odometer. The chassis number is 39002, making it the second car in the batch with the other two numbered 39001 and 39003.
The EB 112 trio was introduced 29 years ago. The first finished example wore a red livery by Italdesign and still belongs to that coachbuilder company.
The other two supercars Bugatti started assembling on its own, but the factory that handled the engineering processes went bankrupt and was unable to finish the job. An entrepreneur from Monaco bought out the two incomplete cars together with their blueprints and spare parts, and proceeded to assemble them to the factory spec. One was finished in black and the other one in Anthracite Grey.
A six-liter naturally aspirated V12 with five valves per cylinder powers the EB 112 with 456 PS (450 hp / 335 kW). A manual transmission sends the torque to both axles, taking the car from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.3 seconds. The top speed is estimated at 300 km/h (186 mph).
There is no publicly available asking price, but we expect the EB 112 to sell for a seven-digit Euro amount.
