When the Bugatti La Voiture Noire came into the spotlight two years ago, it was merely a full-size mockup of a car equipped with a primitive electric motor. Now, the ultra-opulent GT has finally been completed and shipped to a mystery customer.
The French automaker has no interior shots to share with us, but assures us that only the finest pebblegrain leather and polished aluminum were used. The exterior, on the other hand, warrants a closer examination.
The lighting all around looks identical to the prototype version, as do the six exhaust pipes. The radiator grille comes printed on a 3D printer, and there is a single taillight illuminating the entire rear.
According to Bugatti, the La Voiture Noire is first and foremost a grand tourer, rather than a supercar. It boasts smooth all-carbon bodywork without any sharp lines and likely uses the company’s signature 8.0-liter W16 rated at 1,500 horsepower in its stock form.
While we don’t know who the one-off masterpiece was shipped to, we do know it cost them €11,000,000.
