Even now that French supercar manufacturer Bugatti is headed by innovator Mate Rimac, the company still has zero plans for off-roaders or fully electric cars, Rimac said in a recent interview.
According to him, Bugatti will not follow in the footsteps of numerous car manufacturers eager to electrify their lineups as soon as possible. The marque’s next supercar will not be getting its signature quad-turbo W16 engine, though, opting for a smaller engine receiving potent electric assistance. The details aren’t there yet.
This means the Bugatti Mistral (shown in our gallery and video here) is its very last mass-produced model with a sixteen-cylinder internal combustion engine under the hood.
