One doesn’t have to be an automotive industry pro to tell that this Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is not the real thing, not by a wide margin. Rather, it is a 1993 Honda Civic with plenty of amateur-level mods slapped on.
In fact, a portion of the roof and the windows is pretty much all that remains of the original vehicle. The glass-fiber body is completely new, and the black-and-orange paintjob suits it really well; the four bulging round brake lights, not so.
The build comes powered by Civic’s standard 1.6-liter engine fitted with a turbocharger and a sports-grade exhaust system (specs not available). Inside, the front seats flaunt embroidered words ‘Civic Gatti,’ while the doors and the rear bank house a massive audio system that alone cost its owner $1,600.
The car, which has just under 120,000 kilometers (75,000 miles) under its belt, has recently found a new owner for U.S. $4,500 – a fraction of its $12,000 build cost.
