The next-gen Buick Envision debuted as early as 2020 in China (as ‘Envision S’), and now its North American counterpart finally catches up to it.
The car looks identical to the China spec because it is still imported from China, although Buick uses a separate production site for North America (the same as the Cadillac XT4).
The new generation is slightly shorter and less tall than the previous one, but the wheelbase is longer.
Customers in the United States may only order the Envision with a 2.0-liter turbocharged V4 rated at 231 PS (228 hp / 170 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission is nine-speed automatic. There are three trim levels, with the Avenir top spec offering 20-inch wheels, adaptive lighting, a fine mesh grille at the front, assorted chrome details, and expensive leather inside.
Options include a larger infotainment display, a HUD, an all-around camera view system, and adaptive cruise control.
