Carmakers do everything in their power to keep their new products secret until the launch date, but China makes it hard due to the legal requirements obliging its Ministry of Industry to publish patent details. The latest data leak concerns the facelifted Buick Envision S and Plus models.
The Envision S now follows the marque’s latest fashion trend known as Pure Design, characterized by slim DRLs, split headlights and a broad radiator grille. The brand badge has also been updated, and new taillights sit above the slightly retouched rear bumper and diffuser.
Per the specifications, the facelift leaves the old 2.0-liter engine intact. The mill still produces 227 PS (224 hp / 167 kW).
In turn, the Envision Plus gets headlight and grille design revisions and a new 1.5-liter engine rated at 201 PS (199 hp / 149 kW). The 2.0-liter option will remain available, though.
