Cadillac XT5 spied morphing into a stretch limo

Car spotters have tracked down a rather unorthodox stretch limo prototype with the Cadillac XT5 SUV just about discernible in it. Should the car ever come out, it may very well become unique in its class.

There is a fairly long body section inserted in the middle of the stock body, with two doors attached to it. This brings the door total to seven if you count the tailgate, but the production version – if it ever comes to be – will likely only have five.

The badge at the rear says an entry-level 2.0L turbo with 237 hp (177 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque sits under the hood. This is curious, because the production XT5 also ships with a superior 3.6-liter naturally aspirated V6 (310 hp / 231 kW, 367 Nm / 271 lb-ft).
