Luxury division of General Motors,the Cadillac company, plans to expand the SUV-segment with the compact XT3 SUV in its lineup . The debut will take place in the second half of 2018.
Cadillac XT3 will be much smaller and more accessible then current SUV Escalade HT5 giant. The wheelbase will be significantly longer. Experts believe that the novelty will soon resemble the Audi Q3 and Mercedes-Benz GLA in size . The company is ready to position the car as the flagship model in the budget segment of Cadillac brand.
First XT3 will be released exclusively in the United States. The car assembly will be launched at the Fairfax assembly line in Kansas City. It is planned that the plant's annual capacity will have 30 000 copies.
