A number of care centers in the United States have been experimenting with a new and efficient method for vehicle diagnostics, which involves a full-body scan followed by an AI examination.
The car passes through an illuminated frame and gets photographed from all angles, including the bottom. The images are then fed to an AI, which highlights any potential troubles for a human mechanic to inspect and repair as necessary.
The first such installation has been successfully tested in a Cadillac showroom in Las Vegas. Three hundred service centers nationwide are installing the system now that it received positive feedback.
