Since March, 2017 American Cadillac company will begin to install in CTS sedans a special V2V system, which will allow cars to "communicate" with each other. Cars will exchange information about the situation on the road, which will make the operation of the vehicle even safer.
"Communication" of two cars will happen at distance of up to 300 meters. Speed of information exchange - 1000 messages in one second. The system will be able to warn the driver about potentially dangerous condition of a covering, sudden braking or breakage of another car in a stream. At the same time the car should't necessarily be in the driver's field of view.
