Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus has published this year’s catalog of Christmas gifts, and the single most expensive item in it is the exclusive Cadillac Celestiq Carmen. At U.S. $975,000, it costs nearly three times as much as the base EV.
Neiman Marcus is tight-lipped about the details, but mentions some technical specs. For example, the luxury car comes equipped with a 55-inch dashboard display and a pair of 12.6-inch ones for the rear seat occupants. Aside from these, the owner gets two sensor panels, sized 11 and 8 inches large, for quick access to most in-car functions.
Powering the Celestiq Carmen is a duo of electric motors jointly rated at 608 PS (600 hp / 447 kW). A 111-kWh battery packs gives it 483 kilometers (300 miles) of range.
The price includes an invitation to a two-day tour of the Cadillac factory where buyers can familiarize themselves with the nuances of vehicle production and discuss the customizable trim options of their own car. Meals and accommodation are included.
