U.S.-based luxury carmaker Cadillac is preparing Blackwing editions of its CT4-V and CT5, complete with forced engines and manual transmissions. The smaller CT4-V has just been sighted on a test track in Michigan.
The selective disguise clearly shows all the places where changes will be made – these include both bumpers, side sills and wheel arches. The latter will likely gain air vents for more efficient brake cooling. There are also larger wheels and a more prominent trunk spoiler. The air intakes at the front also seem larger – unsurprisingly, given the higher boost pressure.
Cadillac hasn’t revealed any technical specs yet, but media seem to agree that both models will ship with the 3.6-liter V6 engine of the ATS-V, rated at 464 hp (346 kW).
