The North American automaker opened pre-orders for the CT4-V and CT5-V on February 1, 2021, only to sell the entire first edition batch of 250 cars out within the same evening.
The CT4-V Blackwing draws its power from a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 good for 479 PS (472 hp / 352 kW). The CT5-V Blackwing is Cadillac’s most powerful road vehicle ever with its 6/2-liter supercharged V8 pumping out 677 PS (668 hp / 498 kW).
The Blackwing versions of the CT4-V and CT5-V will be the marque’s last high-performance ICE cars; all new flagships will be purely electric.
