The Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Track Edition will debut in July, celebrating the marque’s success at the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship. To keep us excited in the meantime, the company released a video.
The car is shown wearing a front splitter trimmed with carbon fiber, an IMSA logo and new side details. Cadillac V Series stripes adorn the side sills and hood at the driver’s side, and one of the vehicles shown in the video also boasts dark red rearview mirror caps.
As a Track Edition, the newcomer will inevitably get a range of mechanical upgrades as well, but those remain to be shown.
The current CT4-V Blackwing packs a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 rated at 479 PS (472 hp / 352 kW) and 603 Nm (450 lb-ft) of torque. The transmission can be either six-speed manual or ten-speed automatic.
