The Cadillac Escalade may be a luxury vehicle first and foremost, but some people still manage to get some use out of its off-roading abilities. Some even go as far as to customize it to be as wilderness-capable as possible – like this one, for instance.
The 2017 model year SUV wears huge chrome-coated Billet rims measuring 22 inches across and 12 inches wide, wrapped in 37-inch Offroad Gripper tires. It rides 10 inches (256mm) taller than stock owing to Fox Racing shocks and Cognito Motorsports lift kit. The result looks formidable – or horrible, if you aren’t into this kind of thing.
The most interesting detail lies hidden under the hood. There, the SUV’s 6.2-liter LT1 V8 has been bored out to 6.8 liters of displacement and now packs 750 hp (559 kW) thanks to a massive Whipple supercharger. The tuner claims a few more performance mods would enable the setup to hit 1000 hp (745 kW) without issue.
The interior stays stock, and the costs involved haven’t been made public.
