The fifth generation of the luxury-laden Cadillac Escalade has only recently started shipping, but armored vehicle manufacturer Inkas is already offering a bulletproof version of it.
The Canadian company claims the protection corresponds to the CEN 1063 BR 6 standard by default, but you could opt for an even higher standard if needed. The battery and the ECU in particular get some additional armor padding in this project. The suspension becomes much stronger, and the windows all around get swapped for layered thick glass. New door hinges make sure the weight gain is adequately supported, and the tires can afford to run flat for a while in an emergency.
The next-gen SUV uses a 6.2-liter non-turbo V8 rated at 426 PS (420 hp / 313 kW). As an alternative, you could pick a turbo diesel version good for 281 PS (277 hp / 207 kW).
Even in its standard form, the Inkas-tuned Escalade can withstand sustained rifle fire and the simultaneous explosions of two hand grenades underneath. Prices are discussed individually because, as we all know, there is nothing more valuable than human life.
