Cadillac teases the range-topping Escalade-V

Cadillac has tweeted a video teaser dedicated to the impending premiere of the Escalade-V, the ultimate specification of its flagship SUV. According to Carscoops, the car should debut in a few days with more than 650 horsepower at its disposal.

The video itself does not explicitly reveal any details about the presentation, but the mysterious new car is shown to be much larger than all other sport cars standing next to it. A powerful engine rumble in the background leaves even less room for doubt. Finally, Carscoops claims Cadillac explicitly mentioned the Escalade-V in an earlier version of the tweet that was quickly deleted.

If we had to speculate about the engine, we would expect the model to go on sale with the 6.2-liter turbocharged V8 of the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing. On the sedan, the engine produces 677 PS (668 hp / 498 kW) and 893 Nm (660 lb-ft) of torque.

Other features at the top of our list of expectations include an aggressive exterior, quad exhaust tips, new wheels and performance brakes.
