Cadillac has finally shown us the final production version of its electric SUV Lyriq. Prices start from U.S. $59,990, and pre-orders will open before the end of the year.
The car has sharp outlines, an original radiator grille, narrow LED headlights, and vertical DRLs. Much of the exterior has been carried over from the concept version as is, despite the company claiming earlier that the production model would look very different.
Inside, the Lyriq keeps the 33-inch display of its prototype, which combines the digital gauge cluster and the multimedia screen in one solid panel. A killer feature for music lovers comes in the form of a unique audio system distributed throughout the entire cabin, including even the seat headrests.
Powering the ride are electric motors jointly rated at 340 PS (335 hp / 250 kW). A 100-kWh traction battery yields around 300 miles (480 kilometers) of range once fully charged.
