The mysterious Cadillac crossover spotted on the streets the other day looks like a more wallet-friendly alternative to the XT4. Rumor has it the model will be called “XT3”.
If you squint, you can just about discern vertical daytime running lights so typical of the U.S. car marque, as well as a broad front grille with another one below it. Other than that, the body is clad in fake panels and wrapped in zebra-pattern camo, making it difficult to tell smaller details.
A side view reveals sharply slanted a-pillars. The wheels are also quite unusual, with complicated spoke patterns. A hunchback rear remains a complete mystery, but at least you can see two trapezoid exhaust pipes sticking out of the corners of the rear bumper. The taillights are temporary and not a production model.
On a related note, Cadillac is actively trying to electrify its vehicle lineup. Rumor has it that the company introduced select dealerships to a small electric CUV sized like the latest XT4 (see video). Could this be it? We probably won’t know until much closer to the premiere.
