Canoo, a would-be electric car manufacturer, has filed a total of 17 lawsuits against its former executives, blaming them of joining the company with the sole goal of appropriating its intellectual property for their own project, Harbinger Motors.
The abovementioned project was launched in September 2022 by a team of senior managers coming from such companies as Canoo, QuantumScape and Faraday Future.
Most of the lawsuits highlight theft of electric car platform and associated technologies as the main charge. In turn, the litigant claims they acted within the boundaries of the law and waves off the claims as ‘unfounded.’
