Changan CS35 interior shots revealed

Chinese car manufacturer Changan has released a few official photos showing the interior of its next-generation CS35 crossover.

The passenger space of the car appears thoroughly redesigned. There is a new steering wheel, dashboard, infotainment system, seats and door cards. The second-gen Changan CS35 will also be available with an optional panoramic roof.

The car has grown up compared to its predecessor, now measuring 4,335 mm (14.22 ft.) long, 1,825 mm (6 ft.) wide and 1,660 mm (5.45 ft.) tall with 2,600 mm (8.53 ft.) between the axles.

No official engine information exists to date, but rumors suggest the car may ship with a 1.6-liter naturally-aspirated engine around 120 hp (90 kW) strong, partnered with a manual or an automatic transmission.

Last but not least, the vendor plans to release the next generation with the “Plus” suffix attached to its name, meaning that the previous generation will remain on the market. Sales launch is scheduled for this fall.

The exterior of the Changan CS35 was revealed in June. Apparently, the car got narrow headlights, rounded-square-shaped wheel arches and an original roof design.
