Chinese automaker Changan has launched the domestic sales of the 2024 CS55 Plus CUV. Compared to the old version (see video), it received exterior and interior updates, but retained the old tech. Prices start from 99,900 Yuan.
The new Changan CS55 Plus looks like the company’s Uni vehicles, especially in the cellular grille department. The front bumper has been updated with C-shaped chrome inserts at both sides, and the rear end has been slightly redesigned, too.
Inside, the main differences are a new transmission tunnel and the lack of a hardware HVAC control panel found under the infotainment screen in the pre-facelift version.
Things stay standard under the hood, which means a 1.5T engine rated at 188 PS (185 hp / 138 kW) and 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) of torque. The top trim level gets two displays, including a 12.3-inch multimedia screen.
