Changan Nevo Q05 presents interior

Changan has unveiled the cabin of its upcoming Q05 crossover from the Nevo a.k.a. Qiyuan lineup. The car is all-electric and will start from roughly 110,000 CNY ($15,500) when it ships in November, CarNewsChina reckons.

In keeping with the local trends, the interior looks clean and laconic with a simple dash and a bulky transmission tunnel housing two wireless charging pads, but no transmission selector. Physical buttons can be found on the wide spokes of the steering wheel and a compact-sized panel below the main dash display. The display looks rather large, but Changan has yet to reveal the size.

The front passenger seat comes with a power-assisted footrest and what the automaker calls “Zero Gravity Mode”, essentially a feature that lets you turn the seat into a chaise-lounge with a single push of a button. The rear middle armrest has cup holders in it. Overall, the cabin resembles that of the recently introduced Qiyuan A06 sedan (see video).

Size-wise, the Nevo Q05 is 4,435 mm (173.2 in) long and has 2,735 mm (106.8 in) between the axles. It is set to ship with a single electric motor driving one axle with 163 PS (161 hp / 120 kW). CATL will supply two batteries rated for 405 and 506 km or range (251 and 314 miles, respectively).
