Pebble’s newest trailer home, the Flow, is being touted as the most technologically advanced camper on the market today – and not just because it looks like a spaceship, either. It will debut at the nearest LA Auto Show, but the deliveries won’t begin until late 2024.
The camper is 7.6 meters (25 feet) long and has a laconic exterior with plenty of glass surfaces and a 270-degree field of view. Amenities inside include a bed for two, dining and cooking areas, a shower with dimmable glass walls, and a workspace with a satellite link. When not used, the study area transforms into another bed for two. The Flow is designed for four people.
Servomotors help with moving the awning, the access ladder and the rear end supports helping keep the trailer level with the ground. Owners can use a remote control to activate any of the servos with a single push of a button.
Although it is designed for being towed, the Pebble Flow nonetheless has two electric motors to ease hauling it around. When not used, the motors enter power regeneration mode and fill up a 45-kWh battery on board. They also come in handy when maneuvering, and users can even control them via remote. The battery stores enough juice for a full week of using the electric appliances on board, and roof-mounted solar panels provide a bit extra.
The Pebble Flow starts from U.S. $109,000 and maxes out at $125,000 with all option boxes ticked.
