YouTuber JohnnyQ90 has posted the final episode of his series dedicated to creating a miniature internal combustion engine operating on rotary principle. The footage shows him assembling all the parts and starting the engine.
Despite the painstaking calculations and preparation work, problems could not be completely avoided. JohnnyQ90 had to modify some parts during the assembly process and repair the engine repeatedly after the first start attempt.
However, everything worked flawlessly in the end. The dual-section Wankel engine supported by two carburetors is shown operating normally in the video, revving up to around 4,000 RPM in idle and going all the way to 14,000 RPM under peak load.
The creator plans on using the block for a scale model of a car built for racing events.
