Jaecoo J5 shows up ahead of Q4 launch

Chery has released more images of its upcoming Jaecoo J5 SUV.

The new crossover looked production-ready when it was announced this summer. The pre-launch preparations seem to be almost complete, too, but the details are still being kept secret. We do know that the new J5 has 2,620 mm (102.3 inches) of wheelbase – slightly less than the 2,672 mm (104.4 inches) of its larger cousin, the J7. It is also likely that the J5 will ship with petrol, hybrid and EV powertrain options to choose from.

We will learn more in the fourth quarter of the year when the sales start.
