Chery Fulwin T11 debuts with all specs and pricing

Chery has begun taking preorders for the full-size Fulwin T11 crossover in China. It is available in RWD and AWD variants priced from 199,900 to 264,900 CNY (U.S. $28,060–37,185).

The SUV is downright huge by local standards with a length of 5,205 mm (203.3 inches), width of 1,998 mm (78 in), height of 1,800 mm (70.3 in) and wheelbase of 3,120 mm (121.9 inches). The trunk size goes up to 1,650 liters (58.3 cubic feet) with some seats folded down, making the T11 one of China’s largest and most practical hybrid SUVs ever.

A 1.5-liter engine and a single electric motor drive the wheels with 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW) in the base spec, taking the bulky car from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in sluggish 9.3 seconds. Paying a premium for the AWD version adds a second motor and ramps up the power to 469 PS (463 hp / 345 kW), getting the sprint time down to 5.4 seconds.

The battery pack is listed as having either 33.68 or 39.92 kilowatt-hours of useful capacity depending on the motor count. In both cases, it delivers around 220 km (136 miles) of range in all-electric driving mode. Filling the gas tank gets you 1,400 km (870 miles) of hybrid range.

Depending on the trim level, the T11 comes equipped with adaptive shocks, a 30-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital dash display and a ceiling-mounted TV 17.3 inches large. A three-zone climate control system with an air freshener and up to 11 airbags are also listed under premium features.

All six seats are heated in the base spec, but ventilation and massage for the first and second rows must be purchased separately. A 9.3-liter fridge is available along with not one, but two different ADAS packages.
