Chery’s iCar sub-brand is working on its second production car – a small, boxy crossover so far only known as the V23.
The Chinese automaker registered the iCar badge last summer. Its first project was an all-electric SUV named the 03. It looks like the second model is coming soon.
Squarish SUVs are by no means rare these days, so the V23 uses other tricks to look rugged and off-road-capable. Among other things, it seems to have a slim hood and flared front fenders, like the Jeep Wrangler and other classic off-roaders. Just whether it will be any good in that regard remains to be seen.
