Chery QQ Ice Cream EV shows up on official photos

As we reported a few days ago, Chery has a three-door micro-EV underway to the market, and while we posted teasers, these are the first real photos. Fancy a glimpse?

The car remains covered in bright camo wrap, revealing only the cutesy U-shaped headlamps marketed as its main exterior trait. Other than that, it looks just like a typical four-seat urban supermini running on battery power.

Chery says it will offer seven vivid exterior finishes to choose from. The Ice Cream EV will also become part of the iCar ecosystem, and will try to dethrone the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV, which sells like hot cakes and seems to become more popular in China with each passing day. Given its popularity, it is no wonder other carmakers across China start designing their own clones and similar models.
