The Ministry of Industry of China has shared photos of the impending Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, a mid-size crossover SUV with an edgy front grille and redesigned headlights.
According to AutoHome, the SUV will be available in China along with the standard Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Plus models. It will be 4,745 mm (185.3 inches) long with 2,710 mm (105.8 inches) of wheelbase.
The impressively sized radiator grille is X-shaped, and the headlamps are both longer and narrower than the current design. There are new, larger bumper inserts at the front end and new taillights with a connecting strip in the back. A fake diffuser and a large spoiler round things off on the outside.
Buyers will be able to choose between a 1.6-liter turbo engine burning petrol for 197 PS (194 hp / 145 kW) and a 2.0-liter one capable of 254 PS (250 hp / 186 kW). The more powerful one will be AWD by default.
Possible equipment options include a dash cam, a front-facing camera and a sunroof. The cabin will be designed for up to seven passengers.
