ReRun is a retro camper you won’t soon forget

The SEMA Motor Show may have ended in November, but – as it now turns out – we have inexplicably managed to miss this gorgeous Chevrolet C30 ReRun camper van completely. Oh well, better late than never…

The retro-style motorhome is based on a 1972 Chevrolet C30. Creative Mobile Interiors, a company initially specializing in custom vehicle interiors, carried out the restoration project.

At first, the team only planned an interior overhaul, but as soon as they began stripping the cabin, it turned out that the walls were severely damaged with dry rot. They ended up building a new aluminum cabin from scratch, necessitating 2,200 hours of manual labor.

Inside, you’ll find a TV set, a vinyl disc player, a 4KW power generator, a small kitchen and a whole bathroom. The cabin also boasts generous wood trimming and modern furniture. There is a bed for two above the driver’s seat and a few skylights in the roof letting in generous amounts of sunlight.

The restored Chevrolet C30 ReRun is powered by an overhauled version of its stock 6.6-liter V8 engine working in tandem with a four-speed manual transmission.

Creative Mobile Interiors asks U.S. $250,000 for the van.
