It is not common that a car company goes up on sale priced at the same point as mere two or three of its cars. This is, however, the case of Falcon Motorsports, which is currently up for grabs in the United States for $675,000, not even thrice the $250,000 sticker of its F7 model.
Founded in Holly, Michigan 12 years ago, Falcon introduced the Mach7 Falcon Concept in 2010. The supercar proceeded to hit production two years after that, and while plans initially existed to sell 15 units per year, rumor has it that only seven have been sold in total.
At first, each mid-engine coupe weighing 1,263 kg (2,785 lbs) received a seven-liter naturally aspirated V8 modified from the GM LS7 to deliver between 628 and 689 metrical horsepower (620 – 280 HP; 462 – 507 kW, respectively). They could hit 97 km/h (60 miles per hour) in 3.3 seconds.
Later models received a twin-turbo kit co-developed with Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, landing with 1,115 PS (1,100 HP / 820 kW). As a result, they hit 60 mph in 2.7 seconds. A six-speed dual-clutch manual transmission sent the torque to the rear wheels in both designs.
In addition to the entire company, buyers will get a free Falcon F7.
