Big and affordable school buses are often used for motorhome conversions thanks to their versatility and numerous interior layout opportunities. But as this video by New Jersey Outdoor Adventures proves, smaller ones can be just as practical.
This Chevrolet began its life as a compact school bus with five windows and a yellow exterior. The conversion saw it repainted and outfitted with a large roof platform. The interior was remade with the addition of a spacious living room, a kitchen area and a bathroom.
Passengers on board get access to three stove burners, an oven and a compact fridge with a freezer compartment. There are a couple of drawers for storing things, plus more free space under the sink. The sofa on the opposite side can be used when dining or working, and a diesel heater next to it will keep things warm in any weather.
The rear end is occupied by a full-size bed and more storage spaces. The bathroom is still a work in progress, but it already includes a WC and a shower, a drain in the floor covered with wood bars, a lighting fixture and a fan.
